We recently went on a glorious 3 day South Bohemia self guided bike tour organized by Czech Bike Tours. Petr, the owner and organizer, sent his driver to pick us up in Brno and then personally met with us at the start of our trip. While he treated us to a lovely outdoor cafe lunch, he went over the route, provided us with the bikes (Pedelec in our case), helmets, maps, and trip GPS. The bike route alternated between forest paths, small picturesque towns, and soft green fields with rivers and lakes scattered throughout. The hotels were lovely, the restaurant suggestions excellent and our luggage was in our rooms upon arrival. Petr was always reachable and made his way to assist when one of the bikes had a problem. We felt very well taken care of. Our bike routes were easily navigated ( even in the uncharacteristic extreme heat of June 2019). We were blown away by the beauty of South Bohemia, the congenial people, and the delicious food - not to mention the fantastic beer! We wholeheartedly recommend Czech Bike Tours for an unforgettable holiday!
